New regulatory initiative goes live to strengthen compliance across B2C partnerships

Anjouan Gaming is pleased to announce the official launch of the B2B License Recognition Certificate Program, a regulatory initiative designed to ensure that all business-to-business (B2B) service providers working with Anjouan-licensed B2C operators meet appropriate licensing and compliance standards.

This development represents a major step forward in formalizing supplier oversight and reinforcing the integrity of the Anjouan licensing regime, which continues to experience rapid growth and international recognition.

Program Now Live

As of today, the B2B License Recognition Program is fully operational and open for applications. B2B providers licensed in reputable and well-regulated jurisdictions — such as Malta, Isle of Man, Romania, Sweden, and other globally respected frameworks — are eligible to apply for recognition under this new program.

Successful applicants will receive a B2B License Recognition Certificate, which permits them to legally offer their services — including software, platforms, RNG/game content, affiliate systems, and related technology — to B2C operators licensed on Anjouan. This provides a practical, efficient route to compliance for companies already licensed elsewhere but seeking to work with Anjouan-licensed partners.

July 1: Compliance Becomes Mandatory

While the program is active immediately, the regulatory requirement will formally take effect on July 1, 2025. From this date onward, all B2B providers supplying services to B2C licensees on Anjouan must either:

  • Hold a valid Anjouan B2B License, or
  • Be approved under the Anjouan B2B License Recognition Certificate Program

This requirement will apply to all suppliers — including game studios, platform providers, KYC/AML tech, payments platforms, and other service partners.

90-Day Transition Period

Recognizing the need for a fair and organized rollout, Anjouan Gaming is offering a 90-day transition period, beginning July 1, 2025. During this grace period, current B2B service providers will have time to apply and receive either a full Anjouan license or a recognition certificate.

“We are focused on making this transition as smooth as possible,” said a spokesperson for Anjouan Gaming. “Our compliance team is standing by to support applicants and ensure that all qualified providers have the opportunity to align with our updated regulatory framework.”

Lower Annual Fee to Encourage Participation

In a further effort to promote wide adoption and ease the compliance burden on high-quality B2B firms, the annual cost of the Recognition Certificate has been reduced to just €9,500.

This represents a €700 reduction from the original proposal and underscores Anjouan Gaming’s commitment to supporting legitimate service providers while maintaining a rigorous and respected licensing standard.

Raising the Bar for B2B Accountability

This new program reflects Anjouan Gaming’s ongoing strategy to enhance oversight, improve industry confidence, and position Anjouan as a leading international hub for responsible iGaming operations.

“We’re committed to building a modern, efficient, and forward-thinking regulatory environment,” the spokesperson added. “That includes ensuring that both B2C and B2B participants are aligned under a transparent framework that supports growth, safeguards players, and protects the reputation of the jurisdiction.”

Interested parties can begin their application process immediately. For more information or to start an application, B2B providers are encouraged to contact the Anjouan Gaming compliance team directly.
